Woodlands is a modern purpose-built Residential Care Home located in Swansea. The home is registered for up to 9 Service Users with complex needs.
It cares for adults over the age aged 18-65 years, who have mental health needs and challenging behaviour, such as schizophrenia, paranoia, brain disorders, Korsakoff, dementia, hypothyroidism.
The home is located in a quiet area of the very westerly side of Swansea, in the countryside, surrounded by woodland, but also within walking distance of a retail park and large supermarket. It is easily accessible from Junction 47 of the M4, and the city centre is also a short 3.3 miles journey away by car or public transport.

The Home
The home contains eight bedrooms, seven of which are ensuite.
There are also two communal bathrooms available.
The dining and lounge area lead onto a lovely garden and patio, where residents are encouraged to plant vegetables and flowers.
Activities & Transport
Residents are offered a wide range of activities outside of the home, such as football, golf, shopping, social clubs, concerts and walking. Two vehicles are provided to enable residents to take part in these activities or attend appointments.
There is a varied programme of in-house activities, such as arts and crafts, as well as the opportunity to access the company’s purpose built activity centre.
